Aircraft
panels These items have been machined from
solid aluminium billets using our vertical milling centers.
We have experience in handling pure aluminium and its alloys
such as aluminium-lithium alloy for use in the aerospace industry.

 |

|
Prototypes
We
are always happy to carry out prototype work no matter how
small and will machine one offs such as this fixture to the
left offering a short turn around. We can also assist with
material selection and tooling and provide consultation regarding
best techniques and processes.
|
Intricate
Detail
Our
experienced team has the skill and expertise to handle small
and complex parts that are often difficult to hold and require
milling through multiple planes. This component required two
custom jigs to hold the piece in place during the machining
process.

Acrylic,
Perspex & Nylon
We
are capable of machining a wide range of plastics, examples
of which include cast nylon for bearing and bush applications,
Nylon '6', '11' or '66' for electronic and electrical applications
and polyethylene & polypropylene for a wide range of other
industries .

Powder
Coating
We
arrange powder coating and finishing services for our clients.
Powder Coating can be done in a range of colours, thicknesses
and finishes including matt and gloss, depending on requirements.

Turning & Boring
We
offer turning on our Mazak QT 250 upto 250mm diameter and
1000mm in length.
This includes boring, reaming, threading, tapping and knurling.
The items you see here are made of stainless steel and demonstrate
our ability to machine small scale items.

Castings
Machining
We
do a lot of work on cast aluminium parts and fabrications.
These items were shipped direct from the foundry and machined
to customer requirements.

Specialist
Materials
This
complex part has been made from an aluminium alloy box tube,
machined and then given an anodised finish. We work closely
with the client to ensure that their designs are practical,
and feasible to machine by applying our years of experience
in consultation with the design engineers.

Pre-Treatments
This
item has been machined, black anodised and then machined again
to provide a clearly distinctive appearance and to improve
the seating of the final fitting.

Complex
Parts
These
axis and cogs have been machined from a solid aluminium billet
and assembled. They are made from high strength aluminium
alloy and machined to a tolerance of ±0.05mm.

Large
Capacity
We
offer a large capacity envelope of 2.2m x 5.6m x 7.2m
with a lifting capacity of 1000kg. The largest
of these items to the right weigh 800kg and are used as anti
vibration mounts for offshore drilling heads in the petrochemical
industry.

Aluminium
These
lightweight aluminium items are typical of the high volume
jobs we fulfill on a regular basis. Compared to most CNC machining
specialists in the area we handle a significantly higher volume
of aluminium parts than most and have considerable experience
working with aluminium and its alloys.

Exotic
Materials
We
work with a broad range of materials such as steel, mild steel,
stainless steel, copper, brass, and titanium, plus many other
exotic materials. The images to the right show cast gun metal
items with machined faces and associated fixings.
